Learning in Room 1

The children are learning to write high frequency words using cotton buds and dye and making rainbow words.  Lots of opportunities to write high frequency words in different ways helps the children to read and write these words.  Knowing their high frequency words helps the children with their reading fluency and 

 
 

We are learning to draw a picture plan in our writing and some of us are learning to hear the first sound in words.
