Fabulous Friday

Today for Discovery Learning we made smores and popcorn for change.  Ask the children to make dessert over the weekend for you.

We also enjoyed painting rocks in room 1.  We were very creative with our designs.

Fantastic Friday

We had our first fantastic Friday Discovery session with room 1.  We made pizzas, yummy!  

 

Even the big people enjoy Discovery time.

Room 3 Sharing Assembly term two

Hi everyone, sorry for it taking me so long to post this.  Below is two short videos from our rehearsals, enjoy!

Making toast

Today Carter brought some honey to school from the hives on his orchard.  We made toast with honey on it.  We got good at spreading butter with jam or honey on our toast, yummy - thanks Carter.

 
 

Mr Fox joined us for toast, he smelt it from his office.  He loved Carter's honey.

 

 

New Number Mural

Today we went outside and jumped in twos on our new number taniwha to 20, it was good fun.  We will use this to learn our numbers before and after to 20 and to recognise numbers.

Today Liam was keen to make both the cat and mouse from his reading book.  Well done Liam sticking to the task till you were finished.

Making minion play dough

Today we made new play dough for measuring at maths time.  We made it minion yellow and put banana essence in so it smells good.  Luckily we are not minions and know not to eat it!
