Sewing

Last Friday we were so, so lucky Kerrie Marco's Mum came and helped us to sew gorgeous pillows for us to put a tooth inside the pocket on the front.

 

 

 

We showed skills of perserverance and concentration.  Some of the big girls came and helped us, 

Thanks Kerrie, we were all so proud of our cushions,

 
 

 

 

 Clever room three the tooth fairy will think these pillows are so cool!

Fantastic Friday

Today we iced biscuits for our sound of the week 'I' it was fun choosing different colours for our biscuits and decorating them.  We could choose to save or eat our two biscuits.

 We also created a large train track today where we had to share and cooperate with our friends.  Madi and Angelo are working hard to make a circuit for the trains.

 Kees, Madi and Pippa made a cool fire station and had lots of imaginative play.

Kobe enjoyed using Freddy's lego, it is fun to try new lego.

 Leo showed perserverance following instructions to complete a lego model.

 
 Lily and Harper enjoyed using the Friends Lego.

 
 
 

 

Welcome to our new children.

This week we welcomed; Carlos, Liam and Freddy to school, great to have you with us.  Happy school days guys!

Dinosaur Discovery Day

Toady we had our first of many dinosaur discovery themed days.  Today we made a dinosaur land

 using play dough, trees, grass, fences and our imaginations.  Making the dinosaur land created lots of language and cooperative play.

We made dinosaur nests with baby dino eggs inside, which we could eat ... yum!  Leo's Mum Alex came to help us and she said it was like the story of the Little Red Hen where not many wanted to help make the nests but everyone was keen to sample the end product!

We also enjoyed the usual range of other available construction and drawing activities.
