Pre-School Visit

Last Thursday we visited our friends at the Puketapu Pre-School.  We had fun returning to all the activities we enjoyed during our time at pre-school.

Welcome to School Eden

Today we welcomed Eden to our classroom.  Happy school days Eden, we look forward to getting to know you better.

Discovery Learning

Today we were lucky enough to have Di, Madi's Mum come in with Kerrie, Marco's Mum to do some beach art with us.

We made some beautiful sculptures and were very proud of our work.

As were were learning the Nursery Rhyme Incy Wincy Spider we made spiders we could eat and spiders from recyling.

What a fun discovery today and thank you to our awesome Mums!

Welcome to School Connor

Today we welcomed Connor to our classroom.  We hope you have happy school days Connor.

Puketapu Pet Day

Today was our Puketapu Pet Day and what a cool day it was.

We were able to bring live pets or toys.  We made a label for our pet and learnt about providing our pet with water, food, shade and love.

As part of our pet day Lilly and Poppy with their Dad Jack did a special Pony display and taught us about being safe around horses.  We watched Lilly and Poppy do Pony Club activities like putting cups on posts and playing tag.  We watched them jump their ponies.

As part of our Pet Day we had a parade to music around the school field.  We had a huge variety of pets from guinea pigs, birds, cats, roosters, pigs, goats, dogs, a lizard, rabbits, horses, lambs and a variety of the stuffed variety.  There were also some special pet rocks.

There were so many lovely pets and it was obvious to see how much the children loved them.
